RIP John Hughes

John Hughes is one of my favorite directors of all-time. He died today of an apparent heart attack at age 59 - way too young. He directed some of my favorite movies of all time including Vacation" "Sixteen Candles" "Breakfast Club" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off". Just as Michael Jackson provided much of the soundtrack during my youth John Hughes provided the motion pictures that I grew up with. TIME magazine has put together a compilation of some of the most memorable scenes from Hughes' movies. Watch them here. RIP John Hughes. "
