T-Mobile Seeds Preview to Super Bowl spot on internet with Barkley and D-Wade

Not nearly as many companies are seeding commercials on the internet in advance of this year's Super Bowl as we saw last year. The companies paying a record $2.7M per thirty seconds on Fox are much more tight lipped this year. Last year if you remember, we saw this Nationwide spot featuring Kevin Federline making the rounds a few weeks in advance of the big game. The spot earned millions of dollars in free exposure as it became a YouTube sensation.
In a new twist, T-Mobile has created a 60-second video that it seeded on websites such as Google Video and YouTube promoting its Super Bowl spot. The ad is the next chapter of the popular T-Mobile campaign featuring Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade and retired star and TNT studio analyst Charles Barkley. I actually like the strategy of leaking or promoting your company's Super Bowl spot BEFORE the game and getting more mileage with the spot than just the $2.7M Fox buy. See the T-Mobile teaser spot below (I love the famous movie studio voiceover guy they got to voice the spot!).
