NY Giants Super Bowl Win Could Be Good for Wall Street

If recent history is any indication, the New York Giants 17-14 win over the New England Patriots in yesterday's Super Bowl XLII should be a sign of good things to come on Wall Street in 2008.

The Super Bowl Indicator claims that when a team from the former AFL wins the Super Bowl, the market will go down. But when a team from the original NFL wins the game, the market goes up.

Since the NY Giants are an original NFL team, Wall Street could be in for a happy year. The Super Bowl Indicator has been right more than 80% of the time.

Let's all keep our fingers crossed!
