The Summer Olympics are planned for this August (8/8/08) in Beijing China. We've talked extensively about the political protests, pollution and media censorship being big concerns for the IOC.

Now add this earthquake that rocked China today and killed thousands to the growing list of problems.

After careful consideration, I've decided that I won't be traveling to China to cover the Olympic Games this summer. After all of the warning signs I saw during my visit to China last September and since then, I have to tell you that I am glad I won't be there.

I just have a bad feeling about the Summer Olympics in China come August........
