Terrific show on tap for you this weekend. Doug Ulman, the President of the Lance Armstrong Foundation will join me. Obviously Lance is in the news this week with his announcement that he is going to begin racing competitively again. But there are some who think Lance's decision to race again is to give himself a bigger platform to fight cancer.
Ulman, who has been with the LAF since 2001 is a three-time cancer survivor so just like Lance, he knows firsthand what it takes to beat the odds.
Lance Armstrong and his foundation are certainly to be commended. Via creative partnerships with companies like Nike, the LAF has raised over $265M for cancer research. The yellow Livestrong bracelets you see all over the world have brought in millions for the foundation but have also made the LAF a well recognized brand. Lance Armstrong has raised more money via his foundation than just about any other athlete ever.
Also joining me on the show this weekend is Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports. We'll discuss the devastating injury to Pats QB Tom Brady as well as what Brady's loss means for the NFL, the Pats and the competition.
Should be a good show so tune in if you can. If not, you can always catch us ON DEMAND via podcast by clicking here.
