I'm not a big fan of politicians. Most of them seem to have their own agenda. And look at the mess they've gotten us into on Wall Street. This past week has been one of the worst economic weeks our country has ever seen.

The politicians in Washington should step aside and let someone who really knows what he's talking about lend some ideas to help turn around our slumping economy. Just about everything Warren Buffett touches turns to gold. (And this week he's invested $5B in Goldman Sachs and $3B in GE.)

Some of sports' wealthiest athletes have befriended him and sought his advice - LeBron James and Alex Rodriguez to name a few.

And Buffett has plenty of valuable advice for how to turn our economy around.

I don't know about you, but I'd like the people in Washington to listen to him, put their own agendas aside and adopt some of his ideas.

If not, my retirment plans, which have seemingly lost about half of their value in the last 6 months, will be worth nothing a year from now.

And at age 39, I'm not even thinking about having social security available when I retire, so my retirement plans are all I have. And I would bet most people in my age range are in the same boat as I am.
